Szultán Bogdándy

He has featured in group exhibitions since 1982. In 1986 he helped found the Dombóvár Art Colony, and in 1990 he created at the Krastal International Sculptor Symposium in Austria. In 2015 he founded an art brut museum in Budapest for his own works. Since 2008 he has displayed his works at several solo exhibitions. In 1987 he received the award of the Studio of Young Artists’ Association, in 2004 the award of the Székesfehérvár Visual Artists’ Association, in 2006 a Munkácsy Award and in 2019 the award of the Visual Arts Section of the Hungarian Academy of Arts. His works feature in the collections of the Ferenczy Museum in Szentendre, Szombathely Gallery and the Mining Museum in Tatabánya.
