Dániel László

painter | 1976, Budapest

He graduated with a major in painting from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, in the class taught by Zsigmond Károlyi. He paints on canvas with oil and acrylic paints, taking advantage of the unique properties of these two techniques. In 2006 he received a Derkovits Scholarship, and since then he has won numerous awards including the Tornyai Plaque in 2012. So far he has had 98 solo exhibitions, including in Budapest and Rome and a series of thematic exhibitions in every county of Transylvania and Hungary. His works feature in 12 Hungarian public collections.
