Dóra Juhász

painter | 1974, Budapest

She studied painting at the Chelsea College of Fine Art in London between 1994 and 1995, then in 2000 obtained a degree in Painting from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. She has featured in numerous group exhibitions in Hungary and abroad. In 2003 she received a Derkovits Scholarship, and in 2004 a Strabag Artistic Grant. In 1997 she was one of the founders, and for 12 years anactive member, of the Élesd Art Colony. In 2015 she was among the finalists at the Hungarian Contemporary Painting, 4th Esterházy Art Award Exhibition. She is a founding member of the Budapest Art Factory, where she works to this day. Her works can be found at the Janus Pannonius Museum in Pécs and several private collections.
