BMZ / Miklós Zoltán Baji

He is a self-taught painter, graphic artist, sculptor, intermedia and performance artist as well as an organiser of cultural events and a journalist. A founding member of the intermedia section of the Association of Hungarian Creative Artists and several cultural workshops. He has organised festivals with the participation of all the arts and has initiated visual education programmes. He is an experimental type and created a performance art genre known as psycho-techno-body-art. He often uses industrial materials, including various synthetic resin-based noble plasters, in his paintings. He builds his life-size, archaic sculptures using extremely fragile, hollow bricks and line units. He has had many solo exhibitions. His works can be found in prominent Hungarian public collections.
