Luca Oberfrank

graphic artist | 1992, Budapest

She graduated in 2018 with a degree in Graphic Art from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, where her tutors were Alajos Eszik and András Lengyel. In 2016 she studied in Madrid through the Erasmus+ programme. In the same year she received a Fellowship granted by the Republic, and in 2017 she was awarded the Bertalan Székely Scholarship and the New National Excellence Programme Scholarship. In 2019 she participated in the Budapest Gallery’s Salzburg Scholarship Programme. Currently, she is receiving the Artistic Scholarship of the Hungarian Academy of Arts. Solo exhibitions of her work opened in Debrecen in 2018 and Győr in 2019. Script features in her graphic artworks as a repetitive image-making process, and she also explores the relationship between images and sound.
