In his art Apor Ferencz S. mainly seeks answer to problems of his personal existence and the social issues around him. Irony and self-irony often appear in his works, while remembrance is also often present in them. Sometimes he uses personal objects and family photos to make collages and installations, often reinterpreting his own works. Found and reconstructed objects as well as elements from the material culture of his native land are also assigned a place in his oeuvre.
