András Miklós Sáros

graphic artist | 1945, Höchstadt an der Aisch, D

Graduated in 1968 with a teaching degree in Painting and Graphic Art from the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, where his tutors were Géza Fónyi, Jenő Barcsayand Sándor Ék. He works with woodcuts, etching, aquatint, lithography, pencil and silver point drawing. In addition to his many solo exhibitions, he regularly features at group exhibitions. In 1975 he received a Derkovits Scholarship and in 1983 a Munkácsy Award. In 2016 he was awarded the Visual Art Scholarship of the Hungarian Academy of Arts.
