Karmó Zoltán

He graduated in sculpture from the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in 1989. His master was József Somogyi. He started teaching at the College of Visual Arts from 1986, at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts (now the Hungarian University of Fine Arts) from 1993, and was the head of the department of sculpture there between 2010 and 2018. He won the Derkovits Scholarship in 1989 and the Munkácsy Award in 2002. He has had many solo and group exhibitions in Hungary and several countries in Europe since 1990.
