Attila Nagy

sculptor | 1966, Hódmezővásárhely

My sculpture ranges from realistic depictions of people and animals to post-futuristic motorbikers and other travellers. I love the method of hollow ceramics as well as sculpting works from bronze and working with stone. Besides my sculptures, my graphic art also plays an important part of my oeuvre. The creating act of sculpture provides me with the opportunity to experience and show others the existence of wonder. When I begin I don’t know exactly what my work will look like since it’s up to the two of us: the material and I. The play between us two produces the final piece.
