Péter Menasági

sculptor | 1973, Budapest

He graduated in 1999 with a degree in sculpture from the Hungarian University of Arts, where his tutors were István Bencsik and Zoltán Karmó. In 2009 he earned his DLA from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Pécs. His autonomous works have been displayed at numerous solo exhibitions, and he regularly participates in major thematic and national exhibitions. Awards: KOGART foreign study scholarship (2010), 3rd Sculpture Biennial, Award of the Hungarian Academy of Arts (2014), Munkácsy Award (2018), Artistic Scholarship of the Hungarian Academy of Arts (2018–2021). Prominent outdoor works: Péter Mansfeld memorial, Budapest; Closed Gate, Budaörs; Portrait of Dr Ignác Szabó, Tatabánya. His works can be found in the KOGART Contemporary Art Collection.
