In my recent works I use an old-new camera obscura as the optical device transcribing what we see before creating an image of it to record scenes I set up in a selected environment in a stage set. The long moments of viewing the connected individual images and stories combine into pictorial sequences. Thanks to the custom-built structure, interior and materials of my camera obscura, the image is filled with a unique atmosphere in an analog way and the object, the light installation and the canvas inscribed with paint together combine into the final work. During the creative process it is important for me to continuously experiment with the device, its operation and the various materials and techniques and see how they affect the spatial and pictorial-conceptual elements so that I can express the emotional atmosphere as closely as possible.
