Alajos Eszik

graphic artist | 1953, Kiskunfélegyháza

He graduated in printmaking from the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in 1983. His masters were Szilárd Iván and Károly Raszler. Between 1983 and 2018 he taught at the same institution, already at that point called the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. He works in all the traditional graphic art techniques, making copper engravings, aquatints, lithographs, linocuts, serigraphs, pastel pictures, original prints and drawings, as well as watercolour, oil- and acrylic paintings. He regularly displays his art in solo and group exhibitions. His works can be found in the collections of the Hungarian National Gallery, the Gallery of Modern Art in Pécs and the Museum of Óbuda.
