Mózes Incze

painter | 1960, Baraolt, RO

He graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2000. He explores the ways of the simultaneous representation of the continually changing image of the present time and the longer-term structures (painting tradition, repository of forms): his works are imprints of this search. He has been participating in solo and group exhibitions as well as in prominent art fairs in Hungary and abroad since 1997. Important recognitions: Bertalan Székely scholarship (1997), Autumn Exhibition of Hódmezővásárhely, Niveau Prize (2009), grand prize of the HM-MMKI Patronage (2010), Koller Award (2011), grand prize of the Contemporary Self-portrait Biennial (2014), art scholarship awarded by the Hungarian Academy of Arts (2018) and several prizes won at the Autumn Exhibitions of Hódmezővásárhely.
