Alexandra Nádas

graphic artist, painter | 1974, Budapest

She graduated in 2000 with a major in Graphic Art from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, where her tutors were Alajos Eszik, Gábor Pásztor and Tibor Somorjai-Kiss. In 1999 she won a scholarship to the Academy of Art in The Hague. In 2000 a book of her poems was published, which featured 18 of her works of graphic art alongside the 53 poems. Since 2010 she has managed the NaN-art Drawing School and Graphic Art Workshop jointly with Gábor Nagy. She curates and manages exhibitions and art colonies. Since 1996 she has had more than 60 solo exhibitions, and her works have featured in almost 500 group exhibitions in Hungary and abroad. Major awards: Barcsay Award (1999, 2004), Association of Hungarian Creative Artists Award, Summer Exhibition of Szeged (2004), Béla Endre Award (2012), Zoltán Borbereki Kovács Award (2017). Her works can be found in numerous Hungarian and international collections.
