Júlia Végh

painter | 1990, Budapest

She graduated in painting from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2015. Her master was József Gaál. Her works are mainly conceived in the style of figural realism and her techniques include oil on canvas and collage. Important exhibitions: Essl Museum (Klosterneuburg, 2015), Whiteconcept Gallery (Berlin, 2019). She won the Essl Prize (Austria) in 2015 with the series she painted for her degree project. She received the Barcsay Prize in 2014. Her works can be found in many collections: Municipal Gallery, Deák Collection; Ash and Diamond Collection; Béla Horváth Collection; Luciano Benetton Imago Mundi Collection; Collection of UniCredit Bank.
