Tamás Kótai

He graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in 1985. Since 1995 he has been a founding member and manager of the Szeged Art Colony. In 1995/1996 he organised the exhibitions of the Winter Gallery in Szentendre. He has taught at Károly Eszterházy College in Eger since 2017. In 2018 he became a founder member and leader of the Szabadkéz (Free Hand) Art Colony and Gallery in Szihalom. He creates graphic artworks, prints, unique drawings and objects. His works are displayed in solo and group exhibitions. In 2019 he won the award of the Local Council of Szeged, and in 2018 he was presented with the award of the Ministry of Human Capacities at the National Watercolour Triennial in Eger. In 1997 he was presented with the Munkácsy Award.
