He graduated in painting as well as in teaching drawing, art history and descriptive geometry from the Hungarian Adacemy of Fine Arts in 1990. From 1995 to 2011 he taught painting, drawing and art anatomy at the Vocational School of Fine Arts in Óbuda, where he was the head of the painting department and later became its principal. He founded the Meander Gallery of Contemporary Fine Art. Now he teaches at the Forrai Vocational Secondary School. His work has been recognised with many awards (Oszkár Glatz Prize, 1989; Munkácsy Award, 2001; Hommage á Imre Gaál Prize, 2004; Special Prize Awarded by the Fine Arts Section of the Hungarian Academy of Arts, 2015). He has participated in solo and group exhibitions since 1982. He lives and works in Szentendre. His works in public collections: foundation for Hungarian Graphic Art, Budapest; Ferenczy Museum, Szentendre; Imre Gaál Museum, Budapest; Hungarian National Gallery; Musée 2000, Luxembourg; Nógrád Historical Museum, Salgótarján; Paks Gallery; Petőfi Literary Museum; Rippl-Rónai Museum, Kaposvár; Ignác Tragor Museum, Vác; New Visual Culture Foundation, Budapest. He had a solo exhibition in 2018 at Kunsthalle Budapest.
