Dániel Horváth

He completed his higher education between 2000 and 2006, majoring in Painting at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, where Árpád Szabados was his tutor. He also obtained his doctorate here in 2018. He has been a member of the FKSE Studio of Young Artists’ Association since 2001, curator of the Hungarian Painting Day since 2016, and deputy chairman of this event since 2017. He has featured in solo and group exhibitions since 2008. In 2011 he took part in the Budapest Gallery’s Lisbon artist exchange programme, and in 2016 he was awarded a scholarship by the Hungarian Academy in Rome. Accolades: Béla Kondor Award (2005), Lipót Herman Award (2006), Essl Award 2nd Prize (2007), Derkovits Scholarship ( 2008– 2011), Esterházy Award (2009), Jenő Maticska Award (2015).
