Éva Varga

She graduated in 1974 with a degree in Sculpture from the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, where her tutor was Iván Szabó. Her statues are made with various different metals, and she also uses drawing and graphic art techniques. She regularly displays her works at solo and group exhibitions. Major awards: Munkácsy Award (2002), Scholarship of the Hungarian Academy in Rome (2009), Grand Prize of the National Graphic Triennial (2017), Mihály Gácsi Award (2018). Her works can be found in the Hungarian National Gallery, the British Museum in London, and the collections of the Rónaszéki Collection and Ottó Herman Museum in Miskolc.
