Andrea Katalin Gulyás

graphic artist | 1986, Budapest

She graduated in 2012 from Károly Eszterházy University, Eger, with a BA in Graphics, then in 2016 she earned her Master’s teaching degree in Visual Art and Talent Development. She has lived and worked in Mezőszemere since 2011. Her paintings and installations are endowed with symbolic meaning through the enigmatic linking of philosophical meaning and optical depiction. Her prominent solo exhibitions include those held in Budapest and Szihalom. She won an award at the Miskolc Graphics Triennial in 2014 and at the Szeged Summer Exhibition in 2015. She won the Derkovits Scholarship in 2020.
