Csaba Tóth

He graduated in 1985 with a degree in Painting from the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, where his tutors were the painters Lajos Sváby and János Blaski. He has taught at Dániel Berzsenyi College since 1990, and between 2000 and 2002 he was head of the Drawing Department. In 2006 an exhibition of his "Iconostasion" series of pictures opened at the Order of Premontre Grammar School in Szombathely. His essays on art have been published innumerous journals (Árgus, Életünk, Hitel, Kortárs, Magyar Múzeumok, Műértő, Pan-non Tükör, Vasi Szemle). In 2016 he received a Munkácsy Award, and in 2017 a Berzsenyi Award.
