I think it is important that there should be no hard boundaries between the different branches of art, so stepping into three-dimensionality and, later on, creating connections with sound and music captured my imagination from my degree project onward. I am interested in processes, the imprints of events and the marks they leave: I want to call attention to these, explore them, record ephemeral phenomena and preserve them in a certain moment of their existence. I record/preserve the visual effect of things like water, sounds, light and life processes on the materials surrounding them. I think that the events, phenomena and materials we see around us are manifest in an incredibly large number of variations when observed from close up.
